Friday night saw an awesome display of Nitro Buggy racing with 26 drivers competing for points towards the 2006 10 round Pointscore series .

A quick explantion of the results, Pro Buggy is the outright class with the RTR class (ready to race off the shelf pullstart cars) and the Junior class (drivers under 15 years) all competing within the Pro Buggy class, which allows the the RTR and Junior drivers to progress up through the ranks if they are fast enough, which they are as we had 2 x RTR's and 1x Junior in the Top Ten ahead of some of last seasons top drivers.


As for the Nitro Truck results, the event had to be called off due to heavy persistent rain. The first time we have had to cancel an event in over 2 years. Round 1 of the trucks will not be rerun, the Pointscore Series format will be changed to 9 rounds with the best 6 counting.
