2006 Nitro Buggy Pointscore Series Round # 10

Results from Round #10

Friday night saw another quality night of Radio Control Motorsport at OCR Raceway, with the final round of the 2006 Nitro Offroad Pointscore Series, the series was run over 10 rounds with the best 7 rounds counting , and was proudly sponsored by Team OCR, OCR Raceway Pitshop and Caster Racing Australia.
Duy Bui, the 2006 Top End Champion, and Pointscore Series winner, driving an STS powered Caster ZX1, finished off the series in style by taking the final round win, making it an almost clean sweep by winning 8 of the 10 rounds during the series, Nathan Tampe driving a Nosram powered Hyper 8 came in second, while Tam Bui driving an RB powered XB8 finished third.
Up coming young driver Kyle Hodges running a Caster ZX1 took the win in the Junior Buggy class , ahead of Henry Bui in second and Bradley Jackson with his first podium finish driving a Hyper 7 in third.
The RTR Buggy class saw Kyle Hodges take the win over another young driver Tom Jones also driving a Caster ZX1, who finished ahead of third placed Sacker Pro RTR driver Shaun Stewart.
