Going into this round, with only one round remaining in the 2006 series, it seemed the Top 3 positions had been decided, but after one of those nights filled with all the highs and lows of motorsport, Duy Bui even after finishing way down the ladder in 14th place, still holds the number one spot and can't be beaten, and after a woeful night of dramas for second placed Tony Knauth who finished well down the ladder in 11th, it is now possible for Tam Bui who finished 2nd , to take the overall number 2 spot in the Series, which is really going to make the last round a do or die effort for both drivers.

Gary Bui was on fire all night taking the win with 58 laps and the FTD of 10 laps in 5m04.095 with his Boss powered Xray XB8, closely followed by his father Tam Bui also driving an Xray XB8 powered by RB, Shannon Thissen came in third with his HN Racing X1CR also powered by RB, Shannon has been making huge gains late this season and we can expect to see him vying for the top postions in the 2007 series along with many other drivers such as Marc Christianson who finally showed us what his Novarossi powered Kyosho 777 was capable of, Marc will be campaigning a Losi Eight next season , Nathan Tampe driving a Nosram engined Hyper 8, was right on the pace and should be right up there, Anthony Jackson another RB powered X1CR driver is coming to terms with his car and showed some real pace in this event and will be another strong contender and we should also see some of the junior drivers up there giving the more seasoned drivers a real hurry up, with young drivers like Kyle Hodges with his first Top Ten finish at this event driving a Caster Racing ZX1, the youngest of the Bui family Henry who regularly finishes in the top ten, Michan Alp the quiet acheiver whos always right there and our newest young driver Bradley Jackson, all putting on a good show for the strong spectator crowd.
