Australia Day Ute Run 2007

I was going to post results an so on from the Australia Day Open but as most of you would know, we had some issues with the timing system so we werent able to get any results. But we still acheived what it was all about putting a show for the crowds, showcasing our motorsport, and obviously getting our first NITRO HIT for the season on what was an awesome circuit, great fun to drive on. And to see all those spectators coming early to watch us was perfect.

I have to thank you all especially the guys that put their hands up to help to put this great event on. A couple of stand outs that need special thanks would be Darwin Auto Electrics for the use of the genset, trailers and the mower thanks to Steve and Kyle, Coates Hire for the road barriers, not only are they safe but they make the whole show look good, Shaun for the use of the big tents, cos damn was it hot, Ryan for standing there all day handing out flyers and stickers etc etc. the Darwin Ute Club, Variety Club for giving us the opportunity, and finally to the 28 buggy drivers that attended guys what can I say but awesome to get that many of you for a fun charity day was a huge surprise and very welcome, and to that end the drivers of OCR should be proud to know that we were able to donate $600.00 to the Variety Club charity and from what I understand we donated a sizeable portion of their takings for the day.

So guys thank you all again, you all did us proud, and I look forward to sharing an awesome and exciting 2007 season with you all.
