Firstly we would like to welcome a new sponsor to OCR Raceway, with Eagle Boys Pizza coming onboard supplying delicious pizzas for the drivers after events, a great finish to an awesome nights racing. Now to the racing Round 7 of the 13 round 2007 Pointscore Series, saw 28 drivers competing including 2 visiting interstate drivers, Peter Davies from Illawarra Model Car Club driving and LRP powered Xray and Peter Joyce of Racinglines magazine fame also driving an LRP powered Xray, joining the OCR Raceway drivers of Darwin for an awesome night of racing. Round had the usual suspects pushing hard for the win with HN X1CR - RB driver Tony Knauth 16 laps taking the win ahead of Neil Ingram MBX5R - RB in second 15 laps and Gary Bui XRay - Maxpower in third laps, with Peter Joyce finishing in 5th place just behind Marc Christianson Losi - Nova Rossi. Round 2 was an awesome battle between 4 drivers with Marc Christianson taking the win ahead of Tony Knauth just 6.23 seconds behind, Neil Ingram in third 12.90seconds off the leader and Tam Bui Xray - Maxpower 19.88 seconds off the lead. The racing just kept getting better as the night went on with Round 3 being again won by Tony Knauth but not without a battle with 5 drivers seperated by just 24 seconds over the 8 minute heat, with Gary Bui finishing second and Tam Bui in third, with Peter Davies making an appearance in the Top Ten finishing in 6th place behind Neil Ingram. Tony Knauth having a brilliant night again taking the win in Round 4 ahead of Tam Bui and Marc Christianson, with Neil Ingram in 4th setting the fastest lap with 28.627 seconds. The final round of the night again saw Tony take the win, taking wins in all bar one round over the night, with the awesome power of the RB WS7III giving him the holeshot on the starts, it didnt come easy though with Marc Christianson and Neil Ingram right on the pace all night and as always NT#1 Gary Bui and Tam Bui putting the pressure on, and it was nice to see one of our newer drivers Tim Nicol driving an RTR Bazooka making an appearence in the Top Ten with a 7 place finish in the last round against a full field of Pro Buggy's. In the end the overall Round 7 win was taken by Tony Knauth HN X1CR - RB - Proline on 76 laps, with Marc Christianson Losi 8 - Nova Rossi - Panther in second on 75 laps and Neil Ingram MBX5R - RB - Panther also on 75 laps just under 20 seconds behind after 41 minutes of racing, our top placed visiting driver Peter Davies finishing in 5th overall and Peter Joyce after having some car issues coming home 11th. Junior Buggy had Kyle Hodges ahead of Henry Bui and Aaron Snowball, Tim Nicol took out the RTR Buggy round win with Rory O'Connor second and Scott Newhouse third.
