Saturday 18th
After a fantastic night of racing Friday all the drivers were back again to do battle for the richest prizemoney event in Australia, with Wayne Walker coming into the second stage of the event with a very slim margin of 1 point over second placed Josh Pain, with Ashleigh Frensham in third. Round 6 of the event was underway by 7.00pm after a short warm up session, on a circuit that was holding up beautifully with a nice race line showing up after friday night. After a great battle between Pain and Walker it was Walker coming out on top with the win putting a lap on Pain, with Ian Haley coming home in third. Round 7 was a race to behold between the front runners with Pain and Walker going over the line 1.27 seconds apart, with David Simms taking the number 3 spot Frensham relegated to fourth, Haley, Andrew Dun - MBX6, Knauth making it back into the top group after a battery issue on friday, Gavin Newman - 808, Nathan Tampe and Skip Jackson - MBX6 rounding out the Top Ten. Round 8 was a big upset for a couple of the front runners with both Walker and Frensham having battery issues, both drivers piling on some big points, both drivers having done enough earlier though to still be in contention but now the game was on with the lower podium positions very open between a number of drivers, Pain taking the win Dun second Haley third which put him in position now to take 5 Nitro Challenge podiums in a row, and in an all rounds count format speaks volumes about that drivers level of commitment and talent, David Simms pushing hard for fourth Knauth hanging on for fifth in this star studded field, Trevor Lockie making an appearence in the top ten in sixth place, Kyle Hodges - X1CR showing a big lump of talent in seventh, junior buggy driver Jesse Newman - 808 putting on an awesome show in 8th, Skip Jackson - MBX6 getting hooked up to finish 9th and Tam Bui 808 taking the final Top Ten position. Round 9 saw Walker redeem himself and take the win from Pain, Walker resetting the Holeshot Hero benchmark now at 42.00, but it was Pain who set the fastest lap of the event with a blistering 26.866 seconds, Frensham also getting back up in third, Simms fourth and Dun fifth. After 9 rounds Pain has the overall lead on 14 points still not safe in that position as Walker found out in round 8, it only takes a small issue to blow it all, Haley in a position to pressure Walker with only a 2 point split between second and third. Round 10 the final round of this gruelling event was underway by 11.30pm, Walker again taking the round win a lap ahead of the field, Pain second, Simms third, Frensham fourth, Gavin and Jesse Newman fifth and sixth, Haley, Dun, Christianson, Trevor Lockie round out the Top Ten.
After 2 hard and fast nights of Nitro Buggy Action it was Josh Pain taking the overall win ahead of Wayne Walker and Ian Haley in third.

Friday 17th
The 5th annual Aussiemove International Nitro Challenge is underway with a fantastic first night of action on the newly built and designed circuit, which was very well received by all the drivers both visting and local, the very fast design giving up some hard and fast racing, with some technical sections that were giving all the drivers a challenge. After the event opening announcements by Micheal Jones, of Aussiemove the events long standing major sponsor and supporter, Round 1 got underway at 7.00pm with dual Australian Champion Wayne Walker - MBX6 taking the round win ahead of Josh Pain - RC8, Ashleigh Frensham - Hyper 9 third, Tony Knauth - X2CR and Ian Haley - 808 filling the Top five places. Round 2 run in the opposite direction again saw Walker take the win a lap ahead of Pain with Frensham a further 24 seconds down with Knauth 10 seconds behind him, Haley 5th, Tampe - Hyper 9, Andrew Dun - MBX6, David Simms - D8, Phillip Ciccone - MBX6 and Gavin Newman - 808, rounds out the Top Ten. Round 3 sees Walker again take the win this time with a blistering 17 laps in 8m23.221 taking the FTD, and also setting the Holeshot Hero benchmark with a 45.00 second first lap also setting the fastest lap at 27.788 secs, Walker again putting a lap on the field, Josh Pain finishing on 16 laps in 8m26.886 David Simms - D8 pushing through for a third. Round 4 finally sees Walker under pressure with Pain taking the win 14.32 secs ahead, Frensham third , Haley 4th, Simms 5th with the top placed local driver Gavin Newman coming home in 6th, Tim Nicol 7th, Marc Christianson - Losi 8, Dun and Trevor Lockie - MBX6 filling out the Top Ten. Round 5 the final round for Night 1 again saw Pain take it to Walker putting a lap on the Australian Champion, although Walker resetting the fastest lap at 27.361 secs, Frensham a very close third Andrew Dun 2.3 seconds behind in fourth, Newman finally getting a good run to stick his 808 into 5th, Haley 6th, Nathan Tampe, and Skip Jackson - MBX6 making a showing in the top ten in 8th, Ciccone 9th, and Neil Ingram - MBX6 10th. With another 5 rounds of Nitro Sprint action to come tonight, we can expect to see some awesome racing in this anything can happen all rounds count format.
