Ciccone Dominates the 2010 Pro Buggy Championships

Phil Ciccone driving a Novarossi powered MBX6 takes all before him beating not only all others on the circuit but also the very tough circuit itself, the temporary circuit looked like a war zone at the end of the event, with major ruts and holes throughout, from a drivers point of view a very very tough and demanding track, but from a spectators point of view it could not have been better, with an estimated crowd of over 3500 people taking in the action over the weekend, the grandstand were constantly full of cheering crowds making for a fantastic atmosphere that will be hard to top.

Ciccone took out the coveted Pro Buggy title ahead of fellow Mugen driver Anthony Jackson, and Tony Knauth driving an RB powered Hong Nor X2CR battled hard against Kyle Hodges - X2CR - RB and Dean Baker - Hotbodies for the final podium spot, going into the final round Ciccone had the title sewn up as did Jackson for second but third place was still very open with Knauth, Hodges and Baker all on equal points with only a matter of seconds seperating them. Ciccone not only took the title but also the FTD making it a clean sweep of the Pro Buggy trophy haul. Gary Bui - Xray 808 picked up the lap record with a 22.918 seconds, Knauth next quickest with a 23.009 seconds.

Dean Baker driving a Hot Bodies VE8 took out the Sport Buggy class ahead of Henri Raafs - Hyper 8.5 and Danny White - Xray 808.
