The Challenge is on again in 2008 and with that comes a few changes, a new name for starters, a new points format, some new innovations and sponsors, but one thing that hasnt changed is the chance to race against some of Australias Top Nitro Buggy drivers for over $5000.00 in cash. More info will be posted here as it becomes available, but for now the rules and regs are posted, the online nomination form is in the menu, there is an accomodation list, and check out the media gallery and Video channel for some hot pics and vids from the 2007 Challenge or check out the full race report here. The dates are set, book your holidays, book your flights come and join us for some hardcore Nitro Action in the Arena at OCR Raceway, dont miss out on this the 4th annual Nitro Challenge, entries are limited so get in early to secure your spot.

Special Announcement # 1

We would like to welcome AUSFUEL to the growing list of valued sponsors, AUSFUEL are supporting the Junior Nitro Buggy class at the Nitro Challenge, The class will now be known as the AUSFUEL JUNIOR RISING STARS, The junior drivers (up to 15 years) will now be racing for a cash prize pool of their own, plus trophies. The prize payouts are 1st. $400.00 - 2nd. $200.00 - 3rd. $100.00. The event format allows for all the classes to run together eg Pro Buggy, RTR /Pullstart Buggy and Junior Buggy. This allows for the Junior and RTR/pullstart drivers to not only race for their own class, but to also race for the outright Pro Buggy win as well, and with talented young drivers like Henry Bui, Tom Jones and Samantha Coffee, it wouldnt be a surprise to see one of these young drivers up the front battling for the $3000.00 outright win.
