OCR Raceway is fast becoming recognised as one of the best RC Motorsport venues in Australia, hosting fortnightly events under lights throughout the season, including major invitationals and prizemoney events which attract drivers from across the country. The arena / stadium style circuit is changeable, the different layouts range from Rallycross style offroad circuits with jumps, elevation changes, and any number of technical areas, to an 80m Speedway Oval. The Venue owners Tony and Rhonda Knauth are constantly upgrading the facility, with a new drivers stand, racers Pitshop and in the future spectator grandstands. All events are timed using AMBrc timing equipment, the primary classes that are available to compete in are 1/8 Nitro Buggy, there is also Junior Buggy for drivers under 15 years old and RTR Buggy for entry level cars and budget conscious drivers . OCR Raceway events and results etc are promoted via local radio and print media, and via the web, here and sites such as Buggy Sport and RDRC.
